Maredsous Blond is a thirst-quenching abbey beer that originated in 1949 in the Benedictine abbey of Maredsous. Since 1964 it has been brewed by the Duvel Moortgat Brewery and since 1999 it has been an Approved Belgian Abbey Beer. Harmonious flavours of hops and malt characterize this authentic abbey beer. Maredsous Blond is fruity but above all fresh and with a slightly bitter aftertaste. This divine thirst-quencher the monks still drink at lunchtime.
